He’s the gambler to observe at this game and they know it. The whale will either win big or lose big and there is no in the middle.
There’s the low-roller, most likely trying to acquaint themselves with the high-roller. He will inform the other players of books she’s read through on dice setting and converge on the hottest tosser at the craps table, ready to talk and "pick each others brains".
